SmileLine ("we," "our," or "the app") is a personal dental treatment tracker designed to help users manage their dental care information. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
SmileLine does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. All data you enter into the app — including treatment records, referral information, photos, and account details — is stored exclusively on your device using local storage.
The app allows you to enter the following types of information, all of which remains on your device:
All data is stored locally on your device using your browser's local storage or the device's native storage. No data is transmitted to any server, cloud service, or third party. We do not have access to any of your data.
The app provides a backup feature that exports your data as a JSON file to your device. You control where this file is saved (iCloud Drive, Files, email, etc.). The restore feature allows you to import a previously saved backup file. These operations are initiated and controlled entirely by you.
The app may request access to your device's camera and photo library to allow you to attach photos to referral records. Photos are compressed and stored locally within the app's data. They are not uploaded or shared with any external service.
SmileLine does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The app does not contain ads.
SmileLine does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app is intended for general audiences to manage their personal dental information.
You can delete any individual record within the app at any time. To delete all data, use the "Log Out" feature on the home screen, which removes all locally stored data. You may also uninstall the app to remove all data from your device.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
